Our Story

Like all great modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. Missy and Jamie matched on a dating app - yes, actual success on a dating app! From the very first conversation, there was an undeniable spark, and it wasn’t long before chats turned into real plans.

At the time, Missy was living in Aberdare but in the middle of a move. Life had her heading further away, not closer, but Jamie didn't let distance get in the way. Soon enough, Missy settled in Barry, and despite the added mileage, the connection between them only grew stronger.

A key member of the love story? Bluebell - Missy's beautiful, gentle English Cocker Spaniel, who quickly claimed Jamie as one of her own. The three of them became inseparable, their little trio full of laughter, countryside walks, and the sort of love that just feels easy.

In 2024, Jamie officially moved in, making their home together in Barry feel complete. Then in July, during a sun-soaked holiday in Cyprus, Jamie asked a very important question with a stunning ring in hand and Missy gave the easiest “yes” she’s ever said.

Within weeks, the wedding plans were in full swing. The venue was booked, the colour scheme chosen, and both of them dove headfirst into planning their big day with excitement and love.

Now, with Bluebell by their side and a lifetime of adventures ahead, they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with their nearest and dearest.
